Doug Ireland (Michael J. Fox) is the concierge of the luxurious hotel "The Bradbury" in New York. While he caters to the whims of the super-rich, Doug dreams of building his own luxury hotel and hopes that a wealthy investor will help. But there's one condition: he must "baby-sit" the investor's beautiful young mistress, Andy Hart (Gabrielle Anwar). Soon, Doug and Andy can't help falling in love with each other. So he must decide whether the love of his life is worth more than the dream of his life.
