Every year Americans throw away 84000 tons of alkaline batteries, most of these batteries end up in land fills and generally aren't cost effective to recycle. I've been using rechargeable batteries in all of my RC vehicles for the past few years and it has saved me countless dollars and hours. I suggest that when you buy your next RC vehicle or battery powered toy buy a set of rechargeable batteries for it and save yourself and the world some time and money. and help eliminate 84,000 tons of harmful trash a year.
